TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights related to the Event— including logos, graphics, trademarks, images, videos, texts, and the overall design of the website—are the exclusive property of Eventrium SRL.
Participants and website visitors are prohibited from copying, altering, modifying, storing, publishing, transferring, selling, or distributing any of the content displayed on the website for commercial purposes. The use, reproduction, or distribution of any materials related to the Event without prior, written, and explicit consent from Eventrium SRL constitutes a violation of intellectual property rights and falls under the scope of Romanian Law no. 8/1996 on copyright and related rights.
2. Use of Image / Assignment of Rights
For promotional and medical education purposes, the Organizers require participants to assign their patrimonial rights and related rights regarding their image, and to approve that all materials resulting from the Event (photographs, video recordings, online broadcasts, etc.) remain the exclusive property of the Organizers.
By registering for the Event and agreeing to the policies of Eventrium SRL, the participant provides explicit and unequivocal consent for the assignment of their image rights. The participant also agrees that such image-related materials may be used free of charge, for an unlimited period of time, for the promotion of the Event through any chosen means (publications, brochures, mass media, social media, Organizer’s website, the scientific society’s website, Event website, the Internet, etc.) without requiring further authorization.
If the participant refuses the processing of these personal data, the Organizers reserve the right to restrict their access to the Event, as such data are essential for its proper conduct.
3. Limitation of Liability
The Organizers and Eventrium SRL cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during the Event, regardless of the cause, unless such damages result from the fault of the Organizers or Eventrium SRL.
If the Event is modified or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond the Organizers’ control (pandemics, natural disasters, power outages, Internet failures, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, legal restrictions, etc.), the Organizers will make every effort to reschedule the announced activities or to find an alternative venue. However, they cannot be held responsible for any additional expenses incurred by participants (travel, accommodation, etc.).
The Organizers reserve the right to modify the Event rules or structure at any time, with immediate effect, if required for the proper organization of the Event. Participants are obligated to comply with any such updated rules, which will be communicated in due time.
4. Fees and Payments
The Event participation fee is due at the time of registration. If the payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, Eventrium SRL reserves the right to deny access to the Event.
Fees may be subject to VAT, which, if applicable, will be added to the final amount. Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor; Eventrium SRL does not store card details but retains anonymized and unique transaction identifiers.
5. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions constitute the agreement between the website users/participants and Eventrium SRL. The applicable law is Romanian law. Any disputes arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be settled in accordance with Romanian legislation—either amicably, through mediation, or before the competent courts in Cluj-Napoca.
