The European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO) Subspecialty Exam – Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology

08:00–11:00 – MCQ Examination

12:00–14:00 – Viva Voce Examination

The European Board of Ophthalmology (EBO), the European Strabismological Association (ESA) and the European Pediatric Ophthalmology Society (EPOS) have established a subspecialty examination since 2018 which includes Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology diseases management.

The two European Societies, ESA and EPOS are responsible for alternatively organizing this exam.

The FEBOS-SP subspecialty examination intends to provide formal recognition of subspecialty training and expertise in Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology across Europe. The candidate who pass the exam receives a Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology Specialist Diploma in Strabismus and Pediatric Ophthalmology.

All candidates taking the FEBOS-SP Subspecialty Exam are eligible to register for the 51st Annual Meeting of the European Paediatric Ophthalmology Society (EPOS) at the student rate.
