Personal Data Collected Through the Websites
Eventrium SRL collects information from its users in the following ways: directly from the user, from traffic reports recorded by the servers hosting Eventrium websites, and through cookies.
Information Provided Directly by the User
When applicants use a service provided by Eventrium SRL, they may be asked to provide their name, email address, and other personal information.
Information from Server Traffic Reports
When an applicant visits a website, certain information is disclosed, such as their IP address, the time of the visit, and the location from which the Eventrium websites were accessed. Eventrium, like other operators, records this information.
Information Collected Through Cookies
To provide personalized services, Eventrium SRL may use cookies to facilitate storing and tracking user preferences. For example, cookies may be used to identify applicants and provide them with information based on preferences expressed during previous visits. Third-party advertising networks may also use cookies to tailor advertising messages to each user’s preferences.
Cookies are ".txt" files offered to your browser by a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookie use is a common practice among major websites. Most browsers are set to accept cookies. Users may choose to set their browsers to notify them when they receive a cookie or refuse cookies altogether. However, some sections of our website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
Applicants should also be aware that voluntarily disclosing personal information online—for example, in forums, emails, FTP programs, discussion groups, or chat services—may allow unauthorized individuals to collect and use such information. While Eventrium strives to protect applicants’ personal information, it cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted in an insecure environment; transmission is at the applicant’s own risk. Applicants are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information (passwords, usernames, etc.).
Use of Collected Information
• Information provided directly by users is used only to personalize services and verify user identity for executing contracts resulting from the use of Eventrium’s online services.
• Information from server traffic reports helps identify which sections of our websites are of interest to users. Eventrium also collects IP addresses for system administration, crime prevention, and for anonymous statistical reporting to advertising clients.
• Information collected through cookies allows Eventrium to help applicants use our services more efficiently and provides statistical data used to improve our services.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
The confidentiality and protection of user information are extremely important to us. Eventrium does not provide personal data to third parties without explicit, prior consent. Any traffic statistics provided to advertising networks or partners are aggregated and anonymous.
Access to certain services on the website is password-protected. Applicants are advised not to disclose their passwords. Eventrium will never request passwords through unsolicited messages or phone calls.
Applicants should also close their browser window after accessing Eventrium’s websites, especially when using public computers.
Although data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed as 100% secure, Eventrium will make every effort to protect personal information according to Romanian legal security standards.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Eventrium may disclose personal information when required by law or when necessary to protect its rights and interests.
If applicants are asked to provide personal information through Eventrium websites, such information will only be disclosed through Eventrium platforms, except when a service is offered in partnership with another site. In such cases, users will be informed. If applicants do not agree to data sharing, they may choose not to use those specific services.
Account Confirmation Emails
If applicants create an account, they may receive a confirmation email with details about their new account, including instructions on how to modify or delete account data. Applicants are advised to keep this email, as it may be useful if issues arise.
Information Sharing with Third Parties
Eventrium websites may use third-party advertising companies to deliver targeted advertising and marketing campaigns. These companies may collect anonymous data via cookies. When applicable, Eventrium will include links to the privacy policies of partner advertising networks.
